Ammodo Science Award for Groundbreaking Research

Yesterday we received the Ammodo Award for Groundbreaking Research done by our Computational Pathology Group in the field of Biomedical Sciences, in the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam.

Together with the award, they also unveiled the beautiful video that Gwen Pol and her team made a few weeks ago when they visited us at Radboudumc.

I received the award together with Jeroen van der Laak and Geert Litjens, but this recognition goes to our entire group, to the passion, the curiosity and the dedication that our team puts in constantly searching for answers in understanding diseases, improving treatment and addressing clinical needs.

We will use the grant that comes with this award to investigate generalist AI models for computational pathology in the next five years.
