AMMODO SCIENCE AWARD
Together with my colleagues Jeroen van der Laak and Geert Litjens, I have been awarded the AMMODO Science Award 2024 for groundbreaking research in the field of Biomedical Sciences.
Together, we co-chair the Computational Pathology Group at Radboud University Medical Center, a multidisciplinary group working on artificial intelligence for digital pathology image analysis.
Over the past years, we have researched and developed computational pathology that aids pathologists in diagnosing cancers.
Now, we are making one step further towards foundational models, generalist AI solutions that can be applied to a broad variety of clinical questions in pathology and oncology.
